We are seeking experienced and dedicated leaders to fill our Manager on Duty position for our HomeTowne Suites locations in the Denver, CO area:

HomeTowne Studios Denver - Thornton: 8750 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229

As the Manager on Duty, you will serve as an apprentice to the General Manager, and operate as a second in command. The MOD supervises the property when the GM is not present, ensuring the work environment remains positive and productive.

Duties

• Deliver great service and maintain quality scores
• Lead, motivate, and supervise team members, including training new staff and providing ongoing development opportunities
• Work the front desk, checking in guests
• Handle cash transactions
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and control food costs through proper inventory management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety standards across all areas of the hotel
• Address customer concerns promptly to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction
• Conduct property audits and inspections to maintain standards
• Assist with shift scheduling, staffing levels, and labor cost management in line with budget goals

Experience

• Proficient computer use
• Knowledge of front desk PMS system: HotelKey is a plus
• Ability to edit and work with PDF documents
• Working knowledge of Outlook email
• Accurate typing and data entry skills
• Comfortable using an iPad and similar devices
• Strong ability to navigate the internet, including websites and online platforms
• Ability to place on line orders independently and without issues
• Experience in inventory control
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train & develop staff effectively
• Prior experience managing shifts in a hotel
